Are you ready to have the cleanest business in town? Contact SERVPRO
Most people know SERVPRO for offering custom solutions for homeowners needing restoration after an accident or disaster of any kind. But what some people don’t realize is that we take care of business owners, too.
We provide commercial restoration for a storm, water, fire and mold damage, but we also provide specialized offerings. For example, we know that a company prides itself on the image it sends out, so we have made it our mission to ensure that your facility is clean and sanitized.
Commercial Services for Businesses of Any Kind or Size
We want to help you focus on the important things, like your employees and customers, and we can focus on the mundane things like keeping your business shiny and clean. We are professionals who use high-grade cleaning products and sanitation for all types of commercial businesses:
Retail facilities like convenience stores, department stores or grocery stores. Whether your company has two employees or 200, our goal is the same, which is to provide you with exceptional service.
Educational facilities like daycares, preschools or universities. Anyone who works in the field where children are involved knows that it’s essential to regularly clean commonly used items. But even when cleaning regularly, studies show that only half the bacteria from desks are cleared off. Just imagine the items that are not cleaned regularly and the numbers those would present.
Health facilities like hospitals, nutrition centers or hospice facilities. Health is the main priority in these types of business, and that makes cleanliness even more important. We not only make sure the facility is clean, but we go above and beyond the CDC standards.
Foodservice facilities like fast food restaurants, buffets or catering services. Anything to do with food requires cleanliness, otherwise, your business could go under quickly. Let us help you by taking a little work off of your plate!
Property management facilities like model homes, apartment complexes or high-rises. When you are trying to display the beauty of your facility we know what to do to help you achieve it.
The workforce can lose up to $260 billion per year in lost productivity due to illnesses, which is why we do what we do. We can help you get rid of germs and assure everyone that it’s a clean and safe work environment.
When you’re ready to have the cleanest business in town, we’re ready to help. Contact your local SERVPRO to get the pros working on the cleaning so you can work on the work.
Keystone Business Owners Can Rely on Our Certified: SERVPRO Cleaned Process

Have you put a lot of work into making your small business in Keystone a success? If you’re like most local business owners, the answer is a resounding “yes.”
And that’s to be expected. It’s also why we want to support you and the hard work you’re doing for our community.
Why do we place such a priority on businesses? The answer is simple. Our SERVPRO is locally owned and operated. We know how hard it takes to run a business, especially in a tourist community like Keystone.
Building a business takes time and dedication. That dedication leads to long days and nights and time spent planning and looking for new ways to grow.
Having a plan in place for challenges—or at least being agile enough to deal with them as they arise—is important for business owners, too.
Even if you have a nuanced five-year plan, it’s impossible to take every possibility into account. The COVID-19 pandemic, for example, was completely unpredictable. As a business owner, you’ve probably spent a lot of time lately looking for new ways to reach and serve your customers.
Some local businesses have found new ways to serve customers through the internet. Others are opting to open up restaurants, stores and companies for in-person services.
Regardless of how you decided to move forward, you can get help and support for a safe re opening.
Make Safely Reopening Your Priority
You have access to a lot of resources. They include business loans and tips, advice and more from sources you can trust.
You’re probably also looking for ways to ensure that it’s safe for your employees and customers to do business face-to-face again. We can help you with that priority.
We’ll ensure your business location is “Certified: SERVPRO Cleaned.” Here’s how our cleaning process works:
First, our team will consult with you about your business’ needs. Then we’ll suggest an individualized cleaning plan.
Next, we’ll work to clean your space. We work with a high-level system to ensure you’re ready for customers. We use proprietary EPA-Approved Hospital-Grade cleaning solutions. Plus, we use cleaning and decontamination standards directly from the CDC.
The last step is when we certify your business. You can open again with confidence.
If you need cleaning assistance at your business, we’re here. We have crews who are available 24⁄7 in the event of an emergency. Contact us at any time to learn more about our cleaning services and how we can help you.

Choosing the Right Cleaning Service for Your Small Business | SERVPRO® of Rapid City

No matter the need, SERVPRO of Rapid City is here to provide you with a rapid response.
Small business owners are some of the busiest people in the community.
Between managing the day-to-day operations of your company, dealing with your customer’s needs and working on plans for the future, small business owners like you wear many hats. When you’re just starting, you’re likely doing everything from functioning as the CEO to cleaning up your space.
But with time and growth, you may realize there are some functions you can’t fulfill by yourself. If your business needs commercial cleaning support, it’s good to reach out to experts in that area for help.
But how do you hire a commercial cleaning service? The answer might surprise you—because it’s not as tough as you might think. Just focus on some of the same questions you ask yourself when you’re interviewing a new employee.
These tips can help you make the right choice.
Check your budget. As a business owner, meeting your budget is the difference between a good month and a bad one. Ask the company you’re considering for an estimate. Keep in mind, too, that quality remediation and cleaning work now can save you money on more extensive damages later.
Take a look at customer reviews. In today’s world, most commercial cleaning companies have an online presence. Spend some time seeing how past clients viewed their experiences.
Review their credentials. Licensed and certified cleaning companies can give you some peace of mind. That’s because you’ll know that an outside party recognizes the quality of work they do.
Explore the services they offer. You’ll want to choose a cleaning company that provides the widest variety of cleaning services and can create an individualized plan to meet your cleaning needs—whether that’s for a restoration project or a deep cleaning after virus exposure.
Make sure they’re accessible when you need them. Sometimes, you need professional cleaning services outside of regular business hours. Commercial cleaning services that make themselves easy to reach 24⁄7 can help you get started as soon as you need to. That’s especially important when you’re dealing with time-sensitive issues like water damage.

Certified: SERVPRO Cleaned – a defensive cleaning program
5/18/2020 (Permalink)
Let people know that you care by displaying your commitment to cleanliness
Let us help you get back to business
As our communities re-open, we’re all moving back toward a new kind of normal. The expectations of visitors, customers, and employees who come into our establishments have evolved, and staying safe and well is a top concern. The global COVID-19 pandemic has changed what it means to be clean, and we’ve developed a program to help your business meet the new higher standard of clean that is now expected.
Certified: SERVPRO Cleaned is a defensive cleaning program we’re offering to businesses and commercial locations to address the current COVID-19 pandemic. This proactive viral pathogen cleaning program goes well beyond janitorial or carpet cleaning. By choosing Certified: SERVPRO Cleaned, you, your employees, your customers, and your community can rest assured that you’ve selected a higher cleaning standard – you are Certified: SERVPRO Cleaned.
Extensive training and specialized products
As the #1 choice in cleanup and restoration*, we stand on more than 50 years of experience and expertise to help your business become Certified: SERVPRO Cleaned. Beyond fire & water, SERVPRO professionals are trained and experienced in biohazard decontamination and chemical spills – always adhering to the cleaning and decontamination standards set by the Centers for Disease Control and Prevention and local authorities.
From formulating and creating our proprietary cleaning products, like SERVPROXIDE, at our headquarters in Gallatin, TN, to taking the utmost care while disinfecting, we will ensure you and your business are set up to inspire consumer confidence as the economy continues to reopen.
3 C’s – Consult, Clean, and Certify
When the stakes are this high, you want a partner who has developed an industry leading, proprietary training program, cleaning solutions, and remediation processes over decades. We’ve cleaned up some of the most challenging biohazards imaginable. Certified: SERVPRO Cleaned reflects our unique experiences and capabilities. The program is grounded with our unique 3 C’s: Consult, Clean, and Certify.
- Consult – Every business is different, which is why you’ll be assigned a Cleaning Protocol Consultant who understands your business and will create a cleaning program to meet your specific needs. This program will be developed based on your business type, size of space, amount of high frequency touchpoints, foot traffic and congestion points.
- Clean – Based on your specific business needs, your location will undergo a thorough, deep clean, using exclusive cleaning products, according to protocols set forth by the CDC. Our employees have years of experience, and we will go beyond the scope of work that regular janitorial staff perform. Cleanup procedures generally include cleaning of porous and non-porous surfaces, disinfecting of non-porous surfaces, cleaning and disinfecting of equipment, tools, and/or supplies used for cleanup process, and disposal of hazardous materials. In the event of a suspected or confirmed COVID-19 event, we will be there cleaning within 24 hours to ensure you get back to business as quickly as possible.
- Certify - Once your business location has been Certified: SERVPRO Cleaned, you will gain access to proprietary signage, digital emblems, and other collateral that communicates that you’ve selected a higher standard of clean available to help protect your employees and customers. And because we add the day, month, and year to that proprietary stamp of clean, your guests will know that not only did you choose Certified: SERVPRO Cleaned, but that your location is being cleaned regularly at this standard.

What is lurking in your ducts?
11/1/2019 (Permalink)
What's Lurking in your Ducts?
Duct cleaning generally refers to the cleaning of various heating and cooling system components of forced air systems, including the supply and return air ducts and registers, grilles and diffusers, heat exchangers heating and cooling coils, condensate drain pans (drip pans), fan motor and fan housing, and the air handling unit housing.
If not properly installed, maintained and operated, these components may become contaminated with particles of dust, pollen or other debris. If moisture is present, the potential for microbiological growth (e.g., mold) is increased and spores from such growth may be released into the air of your commercial business. Some of these contaminants may cause allergic reactions or other symptoms in people if they are exposed to them.
Ventilation systems are often the biggest culprit in poor indoor air quality. Make it a priority to inspect the ductwork of your business.
If your HVAC has been operating for some time without attention, it could be circulating one or more of the following:
- Dust
- Pollen
- Odors
- Dirt and debris
- Other contaminants
The benefits of servicing your HVAC unit include:
- Helps to restore peak energy efficiency.
- May help to eliminate offensive odors.
- Helps reduce the potential for mold growth.
